Project 007 – Long Island Farmhouse

For the renovation of an early 1800’s farmhouse on Long Island, we were brought in to bring back the architectural integrity of our client’s home. While the house still had some important elements intact, much of the renovation was focused on adjusting the flow of the rooms and adding architectural elements where they had been removed. Custom upholstered furniture brought comfort and warmth while an eclectic mix of antiques from England, France, Sweden, and Spain infused each room with storied gravitas. Small details reveal themselves in the jute trim of the custom lampshades, the naive faux bois paint of the library walls, and the found textiles on the pillows throughout.
